Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Tech for the Hesston, KS facility on the 2nd shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM). You will maintain and repair shop and plant equipment, performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to keep production running smoothly.

The role offers starting pay of $20.28 per hour plus a $2 shift differential, totaling $22.28/hour, with a comprehensive benefits plan and opportunities to contribute to iconic brands like DEWALT, CRAFTSMAN and STANLEY.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two to three years of industrial electrician or mechanic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery and equipment using tools per specs.
• Observe operation and listen to devices to locate trouble.
• Dismantle devices to access parts using hoists and tools.
• Inspect parts with measuring instruments for dimensional changes.
• Adjust functional parts using measurement tools.
• Repair or replace defective structural parts.
• Start devices to test performance; lubricate and clean parts.
• Set up and operate drill press, grinder and other metalworking tools; assist with environmental compliance.
