Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. seeks a Fixture Builder II for our Hesston, KS facility on the 2nd shift (3:00pm – 11:00pm). Pay starts at $22.36 per hour with a $2 shift differential, totaling $24.36/hour.

The role focuses on building and repairing production tools, improving safety features, and working with the Guide TI system. You will join a manufacturing team in a busy production environment, requiring welding, milling/lathe work, and precise measurement skills.

Qualifications

• MS Office proficiency and blue-print reading are essential.
• Welding per print and precision measuring equipment are required.
• Experience running mills and lathes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds new tools, racks, carts, tables, or aids for production (approx. 40%).
• Repairs tools, tooling, or aids for production as needed (approx. 30%).
• Improves safety features and Poka-yoke current tooling (approx. 20%).
• Works in the Guide TI system (approx. 10%).
