Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Hesston, KS seeks a Manufacturing Maintenance Tech for 2nd shift (2:30PM-11PM). The role focuses on maintaining and repairing shop machinery, conveyors, and production equipment, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

You will perform diagnostics, disassembly/assembly, and testing of equipment, using standard tools and measuring devices, to ensure reliable operation and uptime.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two to three years of industrial electrician or mechanic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery and equipment per diagrams, manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
• Observe mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble.
• Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists and tools.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers to detect imperfections and changes.
• Adjust functional parts using hand tools, level, plum bob and straight edge.
• May operate drill press, grinder and other metalworking tools to make/repair parts.
