Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Hesston, KS seeks a Manufacturing Maintenance Tech for the 2nd shift (2:30PM-11PM). You’ll repair and maintain shop machinery across Plants 1–5, using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments. Requires a high school diploma and 2–3 years of industrial maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Maintains and repairs machinery and equipment across Plant 1–5.
• Interprets diagrams, sketches, manuals and specs for servicing.
• Uses hand and power tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Requires high school diploma and 2–3 years’ industrial maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment to manufacturer specs.
• Observe operation and diagnose trouble by sound and inspection.
• Disassemble devices and replace defective parts.
• Measure parts with caliper/micrometer; adjust components as needed.
• Set up drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools as required.
• Assist with environmental compliance tasks.
