Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Team Lead – Material Handler for the 2nd shift (2:30pm–10:30pm) in Hesston, KS.

The role combines supervision with hands-on production responsibilities to drive quality and efficiency across the assembly team. You will create and refine standard work, train new staff, and monitor critical metrics while maintaining adherence to quality specifications and process controls.

Qualifications

• High School / GED diploma required.
• Mechanical, Welding, or Fabrication experience preferred.
• Six months to one year of production experience.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, audit and improve standard work for your team.
• Develop 5Alive metrics that feed into corporate goals.
• Communicate goals and progress via daily huddle to associates and supervisors.
• Train new employees and perform cross training.
• Monitor and report ECRs and serial number deviations.
• Assist with line-level communication to production and quality teams.
• Ensure adherence to quality specifications and error proof processes.
• Develop corrective action plans for defects with quality staff.
