Job summary

Fanatics seeks a Manufacturing Lead to supervise the manufacturing team, coordinate daily production, and drive safe, efficient operations. You will mentor staff, monitor schedules, and ensure quality throughout the line.

You will implement continuous improvement, uphold 5S practices, and collaborate with supervisors to meet output and cost targets in a fast-paced environment. A strong background in manufacturing is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control standards.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of the manufacturing team to ensure efficient workflow.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust assignments to meet production goals.
• Ensure production processes are carried out in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
• Quickly address and resolve production-related issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operations.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the production team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Track and evaluate the performance of individual team members and the overall production line.
• Assist in onboarding and training new employees on manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Oversee the quality of products throughout the production process to ensure they meet company standards.
• Identify inefficiencies in the production process and suggest improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Promote and enforce adherence to 5S principles, ensuring that these practices become part of the company culture.
