USA021 West Publishing Corporation in Eagan, Minnesota is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 1st shift to install, diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on production machinery. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered after 90 days.

The role includes diagnosing malfunctions, communicating status to teams, and performing end-of-shift wrap-up and lubrication procedures. Candidates should have 2-year technical college or equivalent experience and be computer literate.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical college or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Computer literate; able to read technical information and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose machinery malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Communicate repair status to operators, supervisors, engineers, and managers.
• Reconcile work assignments at end of the shift.
• Perform lubrication procedures and electro‑mechanical inspections for preventative maintenance.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and replace motors, gears, servos, sensors, and drives.
• Read and interpret technical information and blueprints to make repairs or fabrications.
