Job summary
Thomson Reuters is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its printing plant in Eagan, Minnesota, to diagnose, repair and perform preventative maintenance on production machinery. The role includes wiring, mechanical, and electrical work with a focus on safety and reliability.
The position offers a 1st shift (6:30a–2:30p) with a $2,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days and comprehensive benefits. Eligible for annual bonus based on performance and enterprise results.
Qualifications
- 2-year technical college or equivalent experience in a technical field.
- Experience in industrial/manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- Computer literate and able to use diagnostic tools.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose machinery malfunctions and perform repairs.
- Communicate repair status to operators, supervisors, engineers, and managers.
- Reconcile work assignments at end of the shift.
- Perform lubrication procedures and inspections for preventive maintenance.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and replace motors, gearboxes, servos, switches, sensors, and drives.
- Read and interpret blueprints for repairs and modifications.
- May operate machine shop equipment and material handling equipment.
