Job summary

Van Drunen Farms, part of the Van Drunen Family of Companies, is seeking a maintenance technician for its second shift to support plant operations. You will perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and assist with building repairs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of related experience, strong mechanical and electrical skills, and the ability to work with tools and teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in building maintenance, construction, or related field.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Good use of common power tools and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance to support plant operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.
• Complete building and facility repairs such as doors, windows, roofing, and other structures.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.
• Evaluate processes to improve reliability, efficiency, quality, and output.
• Work with contractors and manufacturers on projects and improvements.
