Job summary

Vans is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 4PM-2:30AM) to maintain equipment, systems, and facilities at our distribution center. You will diagnose issues, follow schematics, and coordinate with vendors while promoting safety and equipment reliability.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in maintenance, a high school diploma or equivalent, and familiarity with ASRS shuttle systems, tilt tray sorters, and automated packaging machinery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and electro-mechanical or machining training is a plus.
• 5+ years of related professional experience in maintenance.
• Experience with ASRS shuttle systems, tilt tray, high-speed sortation, machine shop equipment and automated packaging machinery is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general, detailed, and highly technical maintenance on equipment, systems, and facilities at the distribution center.
• Respond to requests and tasks, diagnose root causes, and troubleshoot equipment.
• Work from schematics, manuals, and instructions; interpret operation principles; coordinate with vendors.
• Conduct predictive and preventive maintenance to extend equipment life.
