Van Drunen Farms is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the night shift in Momence, IL. The role focuses on preventive, routine, and corrective maintenance to keep plant operations safe and efficient.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of related experience, strong troubleshooting in mechanical and electrical systems, and proficiency with power tools. A high school diploma or GED is required, with bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in building maintenance, construction, or manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with ability to diagnose and fix issues.
• Proficient with common hand and power tools and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance to support safe, efficient plant operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, building components, and production equipment as needed.
• Complete building and facility repairs including doors, windows, fencing, roofing, and structural elements.
• Partner with maintenance and production teams to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, quality, and output.
• Collaborate with contractors and internal teams to support projects and process improvements.
