Job summary

James Hardie is seeking a Maintenance Technician II or III on the D Crew for a 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM shift at the Wilmington, OH site. The role focuses on maintaining production lines, executing work orders, and supporting TPM/6S initiatives in a dynamic, 24/7 manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in a maintenance role, strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, and the ability to read drawings. PPE is required and a physical abilities test may be needed before hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required; advanced education and/or related certification is a plus.
• Two year Maintenance Certification course completion is preferred.
• Welding certification and forklift certification are advantageous.
• Certifications & Licenses: Will meet qualification and certification requirements established by program.

Responsibilities

• Maintains production lines and equipment to ensure uptime.
• Assist in prioritizing work orders with Maintenance Manager and Supervisors.
• Complete work orders as defined by leadership.
• Support 6S and TPM programs for efficiency.
• Coach and train operators in daily preventive maintenance checks.
• Assist with preventative maintenance on shift and line commissioning after events.
• Participate in other plant projects as needed.
• Operate safely to add value to the team.
