Job summary

Medline in Illinois is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:30pm, Monday-Friday). You will perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on conveyors, automation, and robotics, document work in CMMS, and assist with building projects. Requires 3+ years of equipment repair experience and willingness to travel up to 10%. High school diploma required; an associate degree is preferred. Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience maintaining conveyor, automation, or robotics equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on conveyors, automation, robotics and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and escalate to leadership or senior technicians as needed; document findings in CMMS.
• Maintain accurate logs for fire pumps, generators, HVAC and other facility systems; review daily logs.
• Conduct root cause analysis of major downtime events and implement corrective actions.
• Assist maintenance mechanics and participate in building project work as assigned.
• Assemble and test equipment for production; analyze production delays and determine corrective actions.
