Job summary

Sonoco is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician for the Neenah, WI facility. The role focuses on preventing unplanned downtime and maintaining equipment at peak reliability through proactive maintenance and smart problem solving.

You will troubleshoot PLCs, electrical and mechanical systems, and collaborate with the operations team to ensure safe, efficient production. This position may require overtime and shift work as needed to support plant reliability goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; vocational focus preferred.
• Associate degree in Mechatronics or related field preferred or equivalent military experience.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, and automation maintenance skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Proactively maintain and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, robotic/automation, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems.
• Write/modify PLC programs as required by location.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and root cause analysis to minimize repeat failures.
