Job summary

Technetics Group in Columbia, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the second shift to keep our production lines safe and reliable. You will perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production equipment, facilities, and utilities, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to independently manage moderate-to-high complexity maintenance tasks.
• Proficient reading of manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout and safety practices.
• Strong communication of equipment condition and risks.
• Ability to prioritize work and document activity with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production equipment and facilities.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore service safely.
• Document maintenance actions in CMMS with parts used and status.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, QA, safety, and vendors.
• Support installation, commissioning, upgrades, and modifications.
• Provide guidance or training to junior technicians.
