Job summary

Husqvarna Construction in Columbia, SC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic on the 2nd shift (2:30 - 11:00 p.m.) to keep our production equipment and facilities running smoothly.

You'll diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, read blueprints and schematics, and perform preventive maintenance while maintaining accurate records and adhering to OSHA/EPA safety regulations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical components, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Certifications in maintenance are a plus.
• Basic math and measurement skills; able to use a micrometer.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and implement repairs.
• Read blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and improvements.
