Job summary

Phillips Staffing seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician II for our client in Seneca, SC. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on the 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM).

You will read manuals and schematics, maintain CMMS records, and work with the maintenance team to minimize downtime while ensuring safety and reliability of equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical cert/associate preferred.
• 3+ years in industrial or commercial maintenance with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation; strong problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Inspect equipment and identify issues before failures occur.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and prioritize repairs.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to plan activities.
• Follow safety regulations and maintenance procedures; assist with installation and commissioning.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability and maintenance processes.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
