Job summary

Technetics Group in Columbia, SC, is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to independently perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production equipment, facility systems, and utilities. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, document work in CMMS, and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
3–5 years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience.
Able to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Independently manage mid-to-high complexity tasks per protocol.
Proficient with hand tools, meters, diagnostic tools, and safety practices.
Able to read manuals, schematics, blueprints and documentation.
Familiar with Lockout/Tagout and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures.
Respond to breakdowns quickly and restore equipment safely.
Document actions, parts used, and status in CMMS.
Coordinate with production, engineering, safety, and vendors.
Support installation, commissioning, upgrades, and modifications.
Provide guidance to junior technicians as needed.
