Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the 2nd shift to keep plant production systems running smoothly. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate repairs with staff and vendors. Strong electrical and mechanical skills in a manufacturing setting are required.

The role includes reading schematics, planning maintenance projects, and maintaining accurate records while collaborating with teams to improve equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• 2 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or a technical environment or a technical degree.
• Strong troubleshooting with PLCs, VFDs, pneumatics, hydraulics, servo motors, and refrigeration/boiler/HVAC systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical documentation.
• Experience with maintenance tools, instruments and testing equipment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot plant production equipment for operational efficiency.
• Identify equipment failures and coordinate repairs with staff or external vendors.
• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment.
• Assist with preventive maintenance activities.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Plan maintenance projects, estimate material needs and costs.
• Maintain maintenance records and inventory documentation.
• Keep work areas safe, clean and organized.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams.
• Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Work flexibly and on alternative shifts as needed.
