Job summary

Nystrom Building Products is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a small maintenance team across 1st and 2nd shifts. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain sheet metal fabrication equipment while driving reliability and safety in a hands-on leadership role.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial maintenance, strong leadership experience, and hands-on knowledge of laser, press, forming, welding systems, and CMMS. Join a team focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of leadership experience as supervisor, lead technician, or maintenance team lead.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of sheet metal fabrication equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Proven troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
• Experience with laser, press, forming equipment, welding systems, or similar industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small team of maintenance technicians across 1st and 2nd shifts.
• Schedule maintenance resources and prioritize work to support production demands.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.
• Coordinate equipment downtime and recovery efforts to minimize production impact.
• Identify root causes and implement permanent corrective actions.
