Job summary

Astemo Rock Spring, Inc. seeks a Supervisor, Machining to oversee the production of automotive components in our Rock Spring, GA facility.

The role requires leading a 3-shift operation, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while managing a team of line leaders and 28–35 direct reports. You will monitor WIP and production metrics, coordinate overtime as needed, and drive continuous improvement through root-cause analysis and 5 WHY reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing teams in an industrial setting.
• Ability to drive safety, quality and delivery targets.
• Strong communication across shifts and levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing efforts in production of automotive components.
• Maintain safety-first environment and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Track daily production (WIP, finished goods, components) and report targets/metrices.
• Coordinate manpower and overtime to meet customer needs and schedules.
• Lead line leaders, provide coaching and ensure adherence to work instructions.
• Report issues via 5 WHY analysis and keep management informed.
