Qualifications

• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, able to build friendly work relationships.
• Familiar with manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures.

• Management training may be offered by Hitachi Astemo Rock Spring.

Responsibilities

• Supervise manufacturing efforts for automotive/power sport products.
• Maintain safety first mindset and promote safe daily practices.
• Ensure daily counts are complete and accurate (WIP, finished goods, components).
• Understand previous shifts DT and production issues.
• Update and report on BPS boards with hourly progress and quality losses.
• Work overtime as needed to supply customer parts.
• Allocate manpower based on customer needs and production priorities.
• Coach line leaders and associates to standard practices.
• Ensure daily production targets are met and report misses with reasons.
• Communicate issues across all management levels and drive improvements.
