Astemo Rock Spring, Inc. is seeking a Machining Operator to join our Manufacturing & Operations team in Rock Spring, GA. You will be responsible for visual quality checks and loading/unloading aluminum parts in a CNC environment across multiple shifts.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to production goals. Ideal candidates have forklift experience and a solid understanding of machining workflows, quality checks, and reporting any safety or quality issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machining equipment in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Forklift experience preferred (2 years).
• Understanding of quality checks and process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Visual quality check of raw cast aluminum products
• Visual quality check of machined aluminum products
• Load raw cast aluminum into CNC machine
• Unload machined aluminum from CNC machine
• Load conveyor with machined aluminum products
• End of shift area cleanup and readiness for next shift
• Support other departments as needed
• Report safety and quality issues following escalation procedures
