Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Stanfield, NC is seeking a Machine Operator in the Heading department for 2nd shift (2:00 PM–10:00 PM). You will support production schedules, perform machine changeovers, and ensure parts meet customer specs while upholding quality and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, strong reading of blueprints, and at least 2 years of machine-operating experience, with a can-do attitude toward continuous improvements and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Mechanical aptitude; automotive experience helpful.
• 2+ years’ experience operating machines.

Responsibilities

• Assures achievement of the production schedule.
• Perform machine change overs.
• Produce quality parts by following in-process checks and production plans.
• Run parts to customer specifications.
• Ensures improvements are sustained in work area.
• Coordinate wire supply and/or materials to work centers as needed.
• Supports all 6S work initiatives.
• Provide assistance in quality improvements.
