Stanley Black & Decker in Stanfield, NC, seeks a 2nd shift Machine Operator in the Heading department to help meet production schedules and change over machines. You will produce quality parts and run to spec with in-process checks.

Join a team focused on safety, continuous improvement, and 6S initiatives. A HS diploma is required and 2+ years of machine operation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Mechanical aptitude; automotive experience helpful.
• 2+ years’ experience operating machines.

Responsibilities

• Assures achievement of the production schedule.
• Perform machine change overs.
• Produce quality parts by in-process checks and production plans.
• Run parts to customer specifications.
• Ensure improvements are sustained in the work area.
• Support 6S and safety/environmental practices.
