Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Hopkinsville, KY is seeking an Operator/Adjuster/Inspector for the 2nd shift. You will operate all machines, inspect parts for dimensional accuracy, and help diagnose minor machine issues to keep production flowing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Mechanical experience is required.
• Strong problem-solving and quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Operate all machines and auxiliary equipment within all applicable departments.
• Diagnose and remedy minor machine problems.
• Report operating difficulties to the Tool setter and assist as required.
• Ensure production quality by inspecting, separating unacceptable work.
• Visually and dimensionally inspect product using gauges, micrometers, and comparators.
• Meet or exceed set production levels and operate machinery safely.
• Perform minor preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Move products and materials using safe working practices.
• Keep area clean and maintain production records.
• Work overtime as needed.
