Valmont is hiring a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (4:00 pm - 2:30 am, Monday through Thursday) in El Dorado, KS. The starting wage is $22.68 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential.

The role involves setting up and operating equipment such as straighteners, cutters, and press brakes to shape poles, with attention to blueprints and specifications. Essential functions include setup, measuring, quality checks, tool maintenance, and safe handling of materials.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and interpret shop drawings.
• Perform simple mathematical calculations for setup.
• Able to read a tape measure and verify dimensions.
• Work safely with PPE and follow policies.
