Valmont Group in El Dorado, Kansas is seeking a CNC/Plasma Table Operator for the 2nd shift (4:00 pm – 2:30 am, Mon–Thu). You will program and operate plasma drilling and cutting equipment to shape steel sheets and plates, following shop drawings.

This role requires precise measurement, blueprint interpretation, and safe operation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position reports to the Production Supervisor and includes lifting up to 50 pounds and extensive PPE.

Qualificações

• 1 year of experience in heavy manufacturing
• Ability to read shop drawings and blueprints
• Basic math calculations and measurement skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and wear PPE

Responsabilidades

• Program the plasma drill/table and verify dimensions from shop drawings
• Observe operation and ensure machined work conforms to specifications
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment
• Use overhead crane to load/unload machinery
• Follow safety regulations and wear PPE at all times
