Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is hiring a Loader/Unloader for its 2nd shift in Houston. You will move glass and metal products, operate a forklift, and support the shipping department to keep production moving safely and efficiently.

We value dependable team players who can read work orders, apply basic math, maintain clean work areas, and follow safety rules. Prior experience is preferred, with training provided to help you build a career with an industry leader.

Qualifications

• Experience in production/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and understand work orders and perform basic math.
• Forklift driving ability and familiarity with overhead cranes preferred.
• Dependable with regular attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Move glass and metal products safely from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates.
• Operate equipment including forklift and working around an overhead vacuum-assisted 3-ton crane.
• Transport and rotate materials manually or with equipment through laminating stages.
• Read work orders and follow safety, quality, and production standards.
• Inspect product quality for visual flaws and ensure materials meet specifications.
• Use a tape measure to read and interpret basic Measurements.
• Attach labels and required paperwork to products and packages.
• Maintain a clean work area and notify supervisor of any issues.
