Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Loader/Unloader for the 2nd Shift Shipping Department. You will move glass and metal products through the laminating process, operate a forklift and an overhead crane, and ensure timely, safe production.

You’ll read work orders, maintain quality standards, and help keep a clean, organized work area. Prior manufacturing experience and basic computer skills are preferred, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior work experience in production or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift and work around overhead cranes; basic computer knowledge preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, communicate, and perform basic mathematical equations.
• Regular attendance, punctuality, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Move glass and metal products safely from tables, racks, trucks, or crates.
• Operate forklift and work around an overhead crane.
• Transport materials through laminating process.
• Read work orders and follow strict safety, quality, and production standards.
• Inspect product quality and ensure materials meet specs.
• Use a tape measure to read basic measurements.
• Attach labels and paperwork to products and packages.
• Maintain a clean work area and report issues to supervisor.
