Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is hiring a Material Handler for the 2nd Shift in our Dallas-area plant. You will move, load and unload glass and metal products throughout the plant to keep production flowing safely and efficiently, reporting to the Production Supervisor.

Ideal candidates have prior manufacturing experience, can operate a forklift and read work orders, with a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience in production/manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read work orders and perform basic math.
• Ability to operate a forklift and work around overhead cranes.

Responsibilities

• Move glass and metal products safely through the plant.
• Operate forklift and work around an overhead crane.
• Transport materials through laminating process and rotate with production phases.
• Read work orders and follow safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Inspect product quality and ensure materials meet specifications.
• Read tape measures and document measurements accurately.
• Attach labels and paperwork to products and packages.
• Maintain a clean work area and report issues to supervisor.
