Job summary

Penguin Random House LLC in Reno, NV is seeking Light Picker/Packers for the 2nd shift. The role pays $18.00 per hour with full benefits starting on day one.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 10:30am to 6:30pm, and involves picking, packing, and shipping up to 1.2 million books daily while adhering to safety and attendance requirements. Ideal candidates will be able to lift up to 25 lbs (up to 35 lbs occasionally) and operate RF devices, with basic reading and math skills.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy in order picking.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow safety rules and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer book orders using various methods including voice automation.
• Process customer book returns in multiple ways.
• Use a computer or handheld RF equipment to track items.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and meet attendance expectations.
