Penguin Random House LLC in Reno, NV is seeking Light Picker/Packers for the 2nd shift. The role pays $18.00 per hour with full benefits starting on day one.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 10:30am to 6:30pm, and involves picking, packing, and shipping up to 1.2 million books daily while adhering to safety and attendance requirements. Job Description

We have immediate openings for Light Picker/Packers on 2nd shift. $18.00/hr. and full benefits effective your first day of employment.

Monday - Friday 10:30am - 6:30pm

Qualifications

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Pick and pack customer book orders using a variety of methods including voice automation
• Process customer book returns in a variety of ways
• Using a computer and/or hand-held radio frequency (RF) equipment
• Requires basic reading and math skills
• Must be able to push, pull, bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis and occasionally up to 35 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for an entire shift (minimal breaks provided)
• Must be able to climb stairs and be comfortable working on an upper mezzanine level
• Must follow all safety rules and work well in a team-orientated environment
• Must possess the flexibility to work in other areas based on business needs
• Minimum age requirement is 16
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain good overall safety and attendance record
• Work well in a team-orientated environment
• Must adhere to all established safety and precaution measures. The Health and Safety of all our employees is critical.
• Must be flexible and cross-trained in other areas to assist with work in other departments based on business needs
