Job summary

Penguin Random House LLC in Crawfordsville, IN is seeking Light Picker/Packers for the 3rd shift. The role offers $18.40/hr and full benefits from day one, with shift hours Sunday-Thursday from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am (or 11:30 pm to 7:30 am).

Onsite employment at our distribution center, processing books for global shipment. Responsibilities include picking and packing orders, processing returns, and using RF equipment.

Qualifications

• Basic reading and math skills required.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Good written communication skills.
• Must be able to stand for an entire shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 35 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer book orders using various methods including voice automation.
• Process customer book returns.
• Operate computer and RF equipment.
• Follow safety rules and work well in a team environment.
• Be flexible to work in other areas as needed.
