Job summary

Penguin Random House in Reno, NV is seeking a Material Handler for our 1st shift (6:00am–2:00pm). You will palletize, pack and ship books, maintain a clean, safe work area and support shipping operations.

This full-time role offers up to $17.20 per hour and includes benefits; prior experience in warehousing is helpful. Join a team that handles millions of books daily and contributes to timely order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Must show initiative to work with little supervision.
• Must be able to read, write and perform simple math.
• Must be able to lift cartons up to 35 pounds, up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to lift, move and handle empty pallets.

Responsibilities

• Palletize cartons and prepare cartons to ship.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Perform product movement or other special work as requested by supervisor.
