Job summary

RJW Logistics Group seeks an Administrative Assistant to support the Transport Operations Department by entering orders, scheduling pickups and deliveries, and maintaining accurate documentation and communications with customers.

The role requires basic clerical experience, accurate data entry, and strong English communication. The position involves standard office work with potential for varied tasks as needed by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
• 1–2 years of clerical experience.
• Basic transportation and logistics experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders and scan/index documents as required.
• Schedule the pickups and delivery of customer loads.
• Document orders in the computer and update customer contact information.
• Maintain communications with customers about changes and service issues.
• Update reports as required by operations manager and COO.
• Assist local dispatcher in updating Tee Cards.
• Other tasks as assigned by the manager.
