Job summary

HES is seeking a skilled facilities maintenance technician to service educational institutions. The role focuses on repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems and related equipment, with on-call weekends and potential overtime. You’ll work under the Director and coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and EPA certification. Familiarity with building automation and safety standards is a plus.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience with building automation and related controls is preferred.
• EPA certification required for handling refrigerants and related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work on HVAC, plumbing, electrical equipment and notify Director of major machinery failures.
• Weekends on-call rotation.
• Keep maintenance records and complete work orders.
