Job summary

HES Facilities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repair work on HVAC, plumbing, electrical equipment across educational facilities. You will diagnose issues, follow maintenance schedules and coordinate with the Facility Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience performing repair work on HVAC, plumbing, electrical equipment.
• Reading blueprints and parts catalogs as needed.
• Willingness to work overtime or on-call during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, fluids and replace filters.
• Perform minor plumbing, electrical and carpentry work.
• Provide direction to maintenance staff and coordinate tasks.
