Job summary

HES is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repair work on HVAC, plumbing and electrical equipment, and to notify the Director of major machinery failures. The role includes weekend on-call rotation and extensive preventive maintenance across facilities.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, read blueprints, and document maintenance activities. This is a full-time, first-shift position with potential overtime during summers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience maintaining HVAC, plumbing and electrical equipment.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and repair manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work on HVAC, plumbing, electrical equipment and notify Director of major machinery failures.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems and components.
• Inspect, clean and maintain machinery; keep accurate maintenance records.
• Respond to on-call weekends and assist with emergency repairs.
