Job summary

Westtown School is seeking an experienced, full-time HVAC Technician to support operation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, and related building systems across campus.

The role requires strong technical background, safe troubleshooting, and the ability to work independently and with the Facilities team. On-call weekend rotation and essential personnel status are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of HVAC, electrical, or related skilled trade experience.
• Knowledge of electrical principles and the National Electrical Code.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, electrical, and related building systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and replace system components.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics and equipment manuals to diagnose problems.
• Maintain central boiler plant and monitor system performance for efficiency.
• Participate in Facilities Mechanic On-Call rotation and emergency response.
