Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an HR Generalist for the 2nd Shift at the Finney County Plant in Holcomb, KS. You will partner with business teams to administer HR programs, support onboarding, performance management, benefits, and employee relations, and serve as the first line of guidance on routine inquiries.

You will work closely with HRBP leadership on data gathering, reporting, and change initiatives, while handling investigations and maintaining compliance with state and federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of HR experience in an HRBP environment preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Outlook).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking; ability to analyze data and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business teams to implement and administer HR programs across talent management, employee relations, performance management, and development.
• Assist onboarding and orientation, performance appraisals, benefits management, and equal employment opportunity programs.
• Provide guidance on policies and ensure compliance with state/federal requirements.
• Support HR initiatives involving culture, change management, and leadership development; deliver training sessions.
• Lead onboarding with Talent Acquisition for new hires in supported groups; assist in creating performance plans and documentation.
• Conduct workplace investigations and track responses to claims; provide HR reporting and data analysis.
• Support retention and engagement initiatives and collaborate with HRBP leadership.
