Job summary

Advanced Atomization Technologies, LLC is seeking a Group Leader I to provide technical and process direction in a manufacturing setting. You will assign daily tasks, support the Ops Leader and Group Leader II, and help the team meet production goals with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes lean practices, problem solving, and clear instruction to team members. Overtime may be required, and leadership experience in manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• AA TECH employee for at least 1 year preferred.
• External candidates, 1 year of leadership in manufacturing preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assists in assigning trainers for new hires and cross training initiatives.
• Performs daily production tasks as directed by the Ops Leader and Group Leader II.
• Works as a backup for the Ops Leader and Group Leader II as required.
• Facilitates team problem solving and team meetings.
• Oversees one or more work centers within a production team area.
• Maintains audits (Kamishibai, 5S, TPM) and Standard Work Audits and Safety Audits.
• Partners with planners, manufacturing engineering and quality to implement changes to reduce errors, improve throughput, and meet due dates.
• Ensures the team achieves results, follows up on action items, and manages material availability when applicable.
• Reviews discrepancies, takes corrective action, and provides feedback to the team.
• Participates in potential new hire interviews as required.
