Qualifications

• Must possess a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must be an AA TECH employee for at least 2 years preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Maintain qualification in one or more of the production operations in their area of responsibility.
• Encourages and is receptive to suggestions and new ideas.
• Recommends new techniques, systems and procedures.
• Provides clear, concise instruction. Assists in resolving technical questions, as well as team member concerns/issues. Guides team members in the decision-making process.
• Demonstrates professional behavior, good business judgment, and strong team interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Fills the role of shift leader and back-up of the Operations Leader.
• Facilitates team problem solving and meetings.
• Collaborates with planners, manufacturing engineering, and quality engineering to improve throughput and meet due dates.
• Ensures team achieves results and follows up on action items.
• May fill-in for other group leaders as required.
• Performs daily production tasks as directed.
• Trains assembly and test operation staff.
• Maintains safety and audits as directed.
