Job summary

Advanced Atomization Technologies LLC in Clyde, NY is seeking a Group Leader I for the 2nd shift. You will provide technical direction to a production group, assign daily tasks, and support efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

The role involves training coordination, daily production tasks, backup coverage, leading team problem solving, overseeing work centers, audits, and cross-functional collaboration to meet due dates.

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• An AA TECH employee for at least 1 year is preferred.
• External candidates, 1 year of leadership in manufacturing preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assists in assigning trainers for new hires and cross training initiatives.
• Performs daily production tasks as directed by the Ops Leader/Group Leader II.
• Back up for the Ops Leader and Group Leader II when required.
• Facilitates team problem solving and team meetings.
• Oversees one or more work centers within a production area.
• Maintains audits and safety checks (5S, Kamishibai, TPMs).
• Partners with planners, manufacturing and quality engineering to meet due dates.
• Participates in interviews as needed.
