Job summary

Kito-Crosby in Longview, TX is seeking an L-Group Leader for 2nd shift to direct and supervise production crews across machining, forging, welding, finishing and assembly. The role focuses on safety, quality, on-time shipment, and meeting production goals through teamwork.

You will lead 20–30+ team members, coordinate with engineering, QA, scheduling and purchasing, and troubleshoot downtime. Strong leadership, ERP experience (SAP/AS400), and proficiency with MS Office are required; weekend

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work 2nd shift (12:00 PM – 10:00 PM) and overtime.
• Weekend rotation may be required up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise and coordinate machining, forging, welding, finishing, and assembly operations.
• Ensure safety, quality, production quantity, and on-time shipment.
• Organize work based on skills, experience, and tooling; monitor processes.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, QA, Engineering, Scheduling, and Purchasing to improve flow and costs.
• Expedite hot orders and manage workflow to meet deadlines.
