Job summary

Kito-Crosby, a world leader in the heavy lift industry, is seeking a 2nd Shift L-Group Leader to direct machining, forging, welding, painting, and assembly. You will supervise 20–30+ team members, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time shipment while driving continuous improvements.

This role requires coordinating with Value Stream Manager, Maintenance, QA, Engineering, and Production Control. Overtime and weekend rotation may be required; shift is 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing environment.
• ERP experience such as SAP or AS400 preferred.
• Must be able to work 2nd shift and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate machining, forging, welding, painting, finishing, and/or assembly operations.
• Direct a crew of 20–30+ team members to meet production goals and schedules.
• Ensure safety practices, PPE usage, and incident investigations.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, QA, Engineering, Production Control, Scheduling, and Purchasing on workflow and improvements.
• Expedite hot orders and reallocate resources to meet shipment deadlines.
• Participate in interviews and employment recommendations.
