McGill Environmental Systems is hiring a 2nd shift General Laborer to support operations at our composting and organics recycling facility. The role involves housekeeping, grounds maintenance, equipment cleaning, and general labor throughout the site, with a focus on safe, efficient operations and product quality for compost,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, construction, landscaping, agriculture, recycling, or general labor environments preferred.
• Ability to work safely in a production environment.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Keep grounds, ramps, screening areas, and shop facilities clean and organized.
• Perform weed eating, shoveling, painting, and other grounds maintenance tasks.
• Clean and prepare processing bays and production areas.
• Assist with equipment cleaning and routine maintenance activities.
• Support maintenance technicians with repair and upkeep projects.
• Organize tools, parts, and supplies.
• Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain accountability for company-issued tools and equipment.
• Perform housekeeping duties throughout the facility.
• Complete other tasks assigned by supervisors.
