Job summary

McGill Environmental Systems is hiring a 2nd shift General Laborer to support composting and organics recycling operations. The role involves hands-on outdoor work, housekeeping, grounds maintenance, and assisting with production and maintenance tasks to keep the facility running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, construction, landscaping, agriculture, recycling, or general labor environments preferred.
• Ability to work safely in a production environment.
• Outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Keep grounds, ramps, screening areas, and shop facilities clean and organized.
• Perform weed eating, shoveling, painting, and other grounds maintenance tasks.
• Clean and prepare processing bays and production areas.
• Assist with equipment cleaning and routine maintenance activities; organize tools and supplies.
• Follow safety procedures and environmental regulations at all times.
