Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead a large production team at the Aurora, CO facility. You will oversee safety, quality, and efficiency, ensuring adherence to SQF, HACCP, and GMP standards and coordinating shift activities with the Production Manager.

The role requires strong supervisory experience, the ability to manage up to 80 staff per shift, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience.
• Familiar with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
• Able to stay focused in a loud working environment.
• Overtime and weekend availability as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct up to 80 people per shift, managing rotations, training, and breaks.
• Coach production line staff to meet food safety and quality standards.
• Operate equipment safely within assigned area.
• Coordinate startup, shutdown, and changeovers.
• Minimize overtime unless approved by Production Manager.
• Track waste and identify efficiency improvements.
• Maintain timely production records and logs.
• Validate production labels and approvals as needed.
• Maintain GMP-compliant work areas and dress code.
• Schedule shift meetings with Production Manager.
