Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking a Sanitation Worker for our Aurora, CO plant on 2nd shift (12:00 PM-8:30 PM). You will lead sanitation activities to clean equipment, utensils and the facility to support food safety and quality.

Knowledge of SQF, HACCP and GMP is preferred, with attention to attendance and safety policies. The role requires dedication to food safety, ability to work with chemicals, and a willingness to participate in ongoing training and certifications.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge on Food Safety.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Flexible schedule with overtime.
• Must read/write in English.

Responsibilities

• Wear PPE and follow GMP policies.
• Cooperate with sanitation team and other departments.
• Follow SSOPs including eight steps of sanitation.
• Lift hoses, equipment and chemical containers as needed.
• Learn to clean and sanitize production equipment and environment.
• Perform all work duties as assigned.
